Admissions
My name is Chrissy Briggs and I am the Transitions Lead for the UET Pathfinder Academy. When a pupil is referred to us from Norfolk County Council a member of the Transitions Team will contact parents/carers to explain how the admission process works. The new student and their parents/carers will be offered a visit to our Hooper Lane school where all initial assessments will take place. For secondary and most primary pupils a visit will then be offered to the students’ permanent long term school site of which we have four Pathfinder Academies.
Our staff team will work with the individual student to find the most appropriate pathway to enable the student to flourish academically and become a valued member of our school community.
All of our bases are underpinned with Perry’s Core Principles that of attachment, self-regulation, affiliation, awareness, tolerance and respect.
If a pupil is able to demonstrate that they may be able to transition into a mainstream setting our Transitions Team will work with you to achieve your goal.
The Transitions Team and I look forward to welcoming you.
